HistoryFaulkner Park is named after Eric Lees Faulkner (1919-1997), the 23rd Mayor of Tauranga (1977-1980) and great-grandson of early settler and trader John Lees Faulkner. Eric Faulkner also served as deputy mayor and councillor from 1962 to 1977.

A quiet park with a small play ground, great climbing trees for kids. Also has a long gentle hill for kids to learn to ride. Would be 5 stars but doesn't have a toilet.
