Kirkpatrick Park

Kirkpatrick Park's playground on the Kiwi Street side, next to the Camberley Community Centre, centres on a splash pad that runs through the warmer months, alongside swings, a climbing frame with a slide, and a rocker and supernova spinner for older kids. A basketball half-court sits right beside the equipment. An upgrade currently underway is adding a new play tower, a basket swing, more shade, fencing and fresh safety surfacing.

Equipment

The current line-up includes an infant swing, a basket swing, a spring toy, a multi-play structure with a slide, a rocker and a supernova spinner, plus half and full basketball courts. Surfacing is artificial, and while there's no shade directly over the play equipment, a gazebo covers the picnic table and barbecue with some tree shade for seating.

Practical Info

Toilets, a drinking fountain, a barbecue, picnic tables and seating are all on site alongside the splash pad, with off-street parking available. The wider park also has a full-size basketball court, rugby league fields and a community garden. Council operates a smokefree policy across the site.
