Big Bay Playground

Big Bay Playground is a small playground near the wild western entrance to the Manukau Harbour, opened within the last five years and built for toddlers through to early primary kids rather than older children.

Equipment

Balance beams add a coordination challenge alongside swings with an infant seat, a spring loaded see saw for two person bouncing, and a slide, all on a bark surface.

Practical Info

Public toilets and picnic tables sit on site, off street parking is nearby, and the reserve sits directly against the beach at Manukau Heads, so a swim or a walk on the sand is an easy add on.
