Why these ages?

Junior-focused multi-play with slide, infant swing, balance logs, spring see-saw and spinners on bark - explicitly a small junior structure. Reviews say playground 'a bit dated' but suits kids. Set in open medium reserve away from busy roads, no water, no skate. Off-leash dogs are the main irritant noted. Basic but toddler-safe.

Brookside Park sits between Brookside and Dunns Crossing Roads in Rolleston South, a medium sized reserve that has become an unusual double life: a straightforward neighbourhood playground by day, and one of the district's informal radio control flying fields on quieter evenings.

Best place for a dog walk/ball throw. Always so tidy and well kept, the grass is so lush. Great facilities and love the little bowl for dogs to drink out of at the water fountain by the playground

It would be an awesome park if dog owners respected dog's on a leash... No all dog's have the privilege of off the leash walks and not all dog's have good recall, and they certainly fear dog's not on a leash running up to them. There are some extremely uneducated people out this way and it really breaks my heart that my 2 boy's don't always get a good walk that they deserve. Let learn to think of all and not just yourselves.

Playgrounds are a bit dated but still enjoyed by kids. One of the few play areas in Rolleston with toilets. Lovely big fields too
