Why these ages?

Junior multi-play, infant swing and a standout carousel serve toddlers well and locals rate it for 2-8yo. But a tree-lined stream runs through the reserve (kids can 'jump side to side'), it's not fenced, and one reviewer flagged hemlock/nightshade/nettle growing in the riparian margin. Supervised toddler stop rather than let-them-roam.

Nice park. You got everything you need. A public toilet, kids playground, basketball court, rugby field, tennis court. You also can see the tiny Avon river here. That’s why this suburb called “Avonhead”.

Good playing fields and playground. Grass has been kept reasonably green and trimmed. Parking is good too. There is a nice stream running through that is tree lined. Great fun for kids to jump side to side! There is a basketball court and toilet block. Tennis courts in the other side.

Nice big Field. Children's playground, toilet and water facilities, nice wee creek running through it which doesn't appear to have much life in it apart from a little bit of green hair algae which I am guessing is due to it potentially just being a water run off from somewhere. Also there is a fair bit of toxic hemlock and nightshade as well as stinging nettle growing through there so be cautious with animals and young ones that may ingest nightshade berries or try nibbling on some hemlock etc. Cool looking bmx track which I have to sadly say doesn't seem to be well utilized at all but good park all round
