Dipton st playground

Dipton Street Playground is a medium sized neighbourhood playground in Kingswell, Invercargill, with a solid equipment mix for school aged children right on the street frontage.

Equipment

A multi play structure with a slide forms the centrepiece, joined by a T bar tyre swing, a small carousel suited to toddlers, and balance equipment, giving most age groups something to work with across climbing, sliding, spinning, and balancing.

Access and Inclusion

The play surface combines artificial turf and grass, with on street parking along Dipton Street. There's no shade over the equipment at midday, so sun protection is worth bringing on warm days.
