HistoryDolamore Park was established in 1940 after the Gore Borough Council purchased the land to create a public picnic area, which also provided access into the adjacent Croydon Bush Scenic Reserve as a wildlife sanctuary. In 1947 the Dolamore family donated 38,000 pounds to the borough council to fund development of the picnic area and facilities, and the park was named in their honour.

Beautiful park. Stayed a week, power, shower, kitchen if needed. And a lovely view. A couple of nights where we felt a bit unsafe as party goers were there pretty close to us under the trees. 18th birthday. Loud music and they stayed all night. Last night there were girls screaming and squealing and boys and loud car. I could hear them walk past the caravan very close. We're seniors so was a bit unsettling as we were the only ones staying there. Other than that, stunning place!!

Great place for a night stay good walking tracks & good playground for the kids. On-site power ,free wifi but limited cell coverage. Toilets,shower & Kitchen.

Lovely walk, only problem very muddy.. were are camping here now. Its a huge area for campers and tents..20 powered sites. Only problem only one shower.. There are some good hiking trails and a mountain Bike coarse nearby..
