It is a vast park. Some places you could go and be the only person for miles. Other times you can meet others walking. I do enjoy it here, with all the different species of trees and other wildlife to be found. Most recently encountered a ruru

Love the newly laid concrete paths in Donny Park, this is a huge improvement as the pathways are very wet in winter.

Sparse...in saying that... if you explore, it can be fun... It does have a number of entry/ exits. Myself... I pass it quite often, so honestly... the locals know best. Ask, and you may be suprised!!

My Grand daughter wanted a forest and creek on our walk and it had them both. It's a shame there's quite a bit of rubbish and the lovely swing in the big tree has been broken.
