Emerson Park

Emerson Park is a community sports ground and neighbourhood playground in Concord, a small suburb on Dunedin's southwestern edge. The playground has swings with an infant seat, slides, climbing ropes and a basket swing rated among the city's inclusive play features, set on artificial and bark surfacing with public toilets and seating on site.

The wider ground is a dual rugby and soccer field used by local clubs, with change rooms, a kitchen and floodlights that extend use into the evening. Off-street parking and the open grass around the equipment make it an easy stop for families combining a playground visit with older kids' sport, though the grounds are unfenced so younger children need watching near the road frontage.
