Why these ages?

Quiet Tinwald reserve on grass with infant-seat swing, rocker and tube slide (enclosed per reviewer) plus rocktopus, rope swing and climbing for older kids. Flat grassed area with walkway link, no adjacent water/road/skate hazards, and only tower-height equipment. Great for a toddler-plus-sibling visit.

Access notes

The description explicitly states the reserve is flat and grassed with a walkway link between Graham Street and Agnes Street making pushchair access straightforward. However the play equipment itself is set on bark, a barrier for wheelchair users trying to reach it directly despite the flat approach.

George Glassey Park in Tinwald is built around a tower with a tubular slide, paired with a rocktopus climbing piece, a rope swing, bars, a rocker, and swings with an infant seat, all set on bark within a mostly grassed reserve. The mix of infant and standard swings alongside the climbing tower suits a fairly wide age range, from toddlers to primary school children.

I think all it needs is a public toilet and a drinking water tap

Great little playground with a massive tube slide, rope swing and octopus. Full bucket swing for a baby as well as 3 swings. There's also a picnic table and a seat facing the playground. Kids really enjoyed their time here.

Enjoy coming here. There are many different structures to play on. The kids love everything! The slide is great and high. It gives you ease knowing its a closed off. The 4 person tyre swing is the best. The kids love going on this and it gives endless enjoyment aswell as the rocking horse. Overall a great place for the kids to come play

Very good playground, in a large area there are tables to sit, the only negative is no toilet.
