Why these ages?

Small neighbourhood play - infant swing, junior slide, rotonet on bark, flat grass surrounds. Description says traffic on Hibiscus Avenue is generally light but reserve is not fenced, so toddlers near the street edge need attention. Reviewer flags children over 5 will be disappointed - built for the immediate few streets, not a destination. Tweens will pass.

Accessibility
Not accessible

Access notes

Description explicitly states the play equipment sits on a bark surface, a barrier for wheelchair users. Only on street parking is available and no public toilets are confirmed at the reserve.

Not much going on here… Just a big expanse of grass. No Dog park. No toilets.

Great green area with nice kids play area. Used a lot by people with dogs, maybe needs to have a doggy poop bags stand and a bin next to it. Well maintained and a fab zone for suberbia.

It's a good park to take dogs or kids, but there are no toilets here. Lots of trees and children's playground are there too

Great little park. No toilets or bbq areas but you can pack a little picnic and on joy a few hours here easily! Big park to play games and the playground easily keeps my little one occupied.

Not sure why this park is so highly rated. There's no facilities and children over 5 will be disappointed by the play equipment there.

I've been visiting this reserve for years, absolutely love it. It's always tidy, no litter etc. The only thing missing is a doggy poop bag dispenser like the other reserve in the area!

Nice place for kids to play in the playground, good for a picnic or just to walk the dogs.

Lovely area for children and dogs to play and adults to get some exercise under the Pohutakawa trees!
