Very good and well maintained playground for rugby and football. Have kids playing stuffs on the corner; could have more playing instruments. Toilet facilities are available as well but I found it closed. Nice green beautiful fields suitable for all ages.

No toilet facilities outside. Drinking water fountain available. Function hall available for booking. Dogs are not allowed on play ground but people never mind can always see dogs unleashed. Mindful of dog poo while walking on the grass.Local authorites take steps to change part of this park fenced for dog owners to bring their dogs for excercise so that public can use rest of the area. We have such a good law obedient people around this park. Kids playground with slides swings available. Rugby ground and single basketball pole also available. Request to open public toilet gone to dump ears. Retaining walls required on Sea brook Ave side to protect park from sliding.

Lawson Park is the home of the New Lynn Stags rugby league club, people also walk their dogs here and kids fly their kites, I've seen herons in the park in early mornings, it also attracts many different types of birds

It's the worst place to have a league club. There's hardly any parking, if you park on the side of the road then you turn a 2 lane road to a single lane. And there are yellow lines everywhere so people with babies/disabilities have to park forever away.
