Toilets are clean and tidy, an indoor picnic area for kids parties and wet days. The park offers plenty of 'run them off, stretch your legs' area, the steam train is much larger than the ones here in the Hawke's Bay and sound like real horns of a natural steamer. Plenty of parking and picnic tables, however, 1 or two under the tree's would be an advantage.
Levin Adventure Park
93 Oxford Street, Levin 5510
Why these ages?
Explicitly fenced junior area sized for youngest visitors (basket/infant swings, junior slide, spring toys) plus dedicated accessibility swing. Wider senior zone has tall tubular slide, flying fox, climbing wall for older kids, and a skate ramp and basketball courts serve tweens. Fenced toddler section mitigates the adjacent skate/tall risks. Absolute top-tier destination for all ages.
Access notes
The description states an accessibility swing is provided for children who need extra support, a transfer in seat rather than a swing the chair rolls onto, and the surface is artificial giving level footing across the site. No explicit accessible parking or toilet is mentioned.
What's here
Levin Adventure Park is a very large, wide-ranging playground built for a full range of ages, from a fenced junior area with basket and infant swings through to a skate ramp and basketball courts for teens. Best suited for ages 1 to 12.
