Toilets are clean and tidy, an indoor picnic area for kids parties and wet days. The park offers plenty of 'run them off, stretch your legs' area, the steam train is much larger than the ones here in the Hawke's Bay and sound like real horns of a natural steamer. Plenty of parking and picnic tables, however, 1 or two under the tree's would be an advantage.

Amazing park. Brilliant for children. The park has everything that you need from flying foxes, swings, slides, everything. Perfect place to stop if you are out and about on a road trip or just running chores around town with the kids. Amazing park and a must go if you have children.

This is a wonderful place (no entrance fee) for families with young children. I remember my children having so much fun over there, but they got a little bit too old. A great place to break up your trip driving from Taupō/Rotorua to Wellington.

The biggest public playground we have ever seen!!! 😍 The highlight for me was the colorful rainbow-themed equipment which added a fun and cheerful touch to the entire area. The playground was well-maintained and had a variety of equipment suitable for children of different ages. even it has a workout area for adults and a dog's playground too. Overall, I would highly recommend this playground to anyone looking for a fun and inclusive activity. It's a great spot for families and friends to spend some quality time together in a vibrant and playful environment.
