Marsden Recreational Ground

Marsden Recreational Ground in Stoke, Nelson is a fenced neighbourhood playground built around a tower with slide and an eagle claw swing, the large dish style swing that suits a mix of ages, alongside a spinner, a see-saw and standard swings.

The reserve is named for the Marsden family, early Nelson settlers whose patriarch Thomas Marsden established the Isel estate nearby in Stoke. Seating and picnic benches sit beside the playground, with off street parking and some tree shade over the equipment.
