New Plymouth Central Playground

New Plymouth Central Playground fills a large council reserve in the heart of the city with one of the region's broadest equipment lineups, mixing bark and artificial surfacing under shade sails and mature trees. The scale and variety, from a waterplay feature to a supernova spinner, suit family groups spanning toddlers through to older primary age children.

Play items include a mini trampoline, tubular slides, a climbing net, a rotonet, swings with an infant seat, tunnels, a supernova spinner, a waterplay feature, a bowl rocker, and a spring toy.
