Super fun little playground at the park. Was pretty quiet on a weekday morning, which was perfect for our kids.
New Plymouth Central Playground
New Plymouth Central, New Plymouth 4310
Why these ages?
Broad equipment lineup spanning toddlers to older primary: mini trampoline, tubular slides, climbing net, rotonet, infant swing, tunnels, supernova, small waterplay feature, bowl rocker, spring toys, flying fox. Reviewer confirms 'well fenced' and shade sails plus mature trees give real cover. Public toilets, drinking fountain, picnic tables on site. Excellent set-and-forget spot for toddlers within the fence, with challenge features for older kids too.
Access notes
The description explicitly states the site mixes bark and artificial surfacing, so at least part of the play area sits on loose fill that is a barrier for wheelchair users. Toilets are on site and one review notes easy access to them, but no accessible parking bay or step free path to the equipment specifically is named.
What's here
