Why these ages?

Small residential neighbourhood playground with multi-play, slide, infant swing, climbing frame, solo spinner and bowl rockers. Suits toddler through primary. Not fenced and one review flags kids running towards Cambridge Street - but the street is a slow residential local, not an arterial risk. Enough to hold interest ~20 minutes.

Access notes

Description explicitly states the play area is bark surfaced. No accessible parking, path or transfer feature is described, and a review notes there is no fence around the playground.

Nice little park. Good for all ages under 12 to use. Nice creative drainage river from council. See photo. Mural a charmer from local residents . Names are written underneath. Great work from Tasman council.

More my son loved it to the point after 1 hour of playing there, I had to pick him up and carry a screaming child home. He didnt want to leave. …

A small but fun playground right near the centre of Richmond. It features a kiddy swing and two normal swings, a slide and a number of other things for kids to climb and balance on etc. Should keep you entertained for at least 10-20 minutes

A smaller playground with swings, a climbing frame and various spin toys. There are park benches for the adults and grass to sit on in Summer. At one point there was a hand pump which allowed water to spill into a spillway. Didn't notice if that was currently going.

I would give 5 stars but there is no fence or low structure around playground to slow down little kids from running out on the road

Another nice park in Richmond, Nelson. Benches seemed a bit higher than usual though.
