Panton Street Playground

Panton Street Playground is a neighbourhood play space in Invercargill's Appleby suburb, with frontage onto both Panton and Conon Streets for easy access from surrounding homes.

Equipment

The playground has a large carousel, a see-saw, a slide, a T-bar tyre swing and standard swings, on an artificial surface that keeps it usable year-round.

Access and Inclusion

The open, flat setting gives caregivers good visibility over the whole site. On-street parking is available on Panton Street.

Practical Info

There are no toilets on site and no overhead shade, though boundary trees offer some shade nearby. Invercargill City Council keeps the playground smokefree.
