Why these ages?

Infant swing, basket swing, wheelchair carousel and sand play suit toddlers well, but no fencing and adjacent skate area limits toddler score. Rocktopus climber, see-saw and skate/basketball extend into older kids. Grassy site with picnic infrastructure — reasonable family stop.

Partial access
+ Wheel-on roundabout / carousel- Bark or wood-chip surface (wheels sink)
Access notes

Description names a wheelchair accessible carousel among the core equipment, but seating and picnic areas are described as sitting on bark chip underfoot, a barrier for wheeling around the wider site to reach it.

Equipment

The playground at Pukekohe Park is a family corner of one of South Auckland's best known sporting grounds, on Harris Street, best suited to kids aged about two to ten rather than a destination in its own right.

Good playground for various ages. Kids had fun, especially on the Rocktpus.
