Why these ages?

Post-renovation reviews confirm the playground and park area is fully fenced, with the multi-play slide unit suited to younger children who can manage a slide with a little help. Toilets, shade and picnic tables on site. One older review flagged a road-side danger but the fencing upgrade addressed that. A local suggested 4-8yos as the sweet spot.

Equipment

Roulston Park Playground is a small playground in central Pukekohe, built around a multi-play structure with a slide, sitting within the wider Roulston Park reserve. It's a compact stop rather than a multi-zone destination, well suited to a short visit for younger children able to manage the slide with a little assistance.

Just reopened to the public after a massive renovation. The playground and park area is fully fenced. There is a public toilet and public BBQ facility. Lots of natural wood features, centred around a big beautiful tree. A variety of seating areas and tables for picnics. The Pioneer cottage is also still on site. Beautifully updated. Would suggest that it is for younger children 4-8 year olds. But a great space for all families

I feel the park has great potential. It is old and established & has interesting historical providence. The trees are very beautiful. The park will be great when the upgrade is complete. Parking is very limited. Road traffic volume means that the side without a fence is currently extremely dangerous. I hope the aloe Vera is kept as it is excellent for sunburn. Thanks & will update when the park upgrade has been completed. 🙌 🙌 🙌

Great playground. Good for toddlers and bigger kids. No parking next to park, so you need to park in station road.
