Rangitane Park Playground is a large playground within a massive park, so... plenty of open space. There you'll find a well-provisioned playground, with a large metal slide next to it, coupled with an open gym, and sportgrounds. Rubbish bins, water fountain, toilets, shaded seating, nearby trees for cool shade when needed, and on-street free parking. The view from the playground onto the park below is good, too, adding to the feel-well of the experience. If following Palmy's Best Playgrounds' Route, nearby playgrounds are at Raleigh Reserve and at Totaranui Park.

Great playground for our 3yo to navigate. Great mix of stuff that he could be independent on while also a few challenges.

My boy loved the massive slide, but much of the playground was a bit much for him

One of my favorite parks to take the kids to. Nice and quiet. Can do some stair workouts next to the slides as the kids play

Good playground for children and it is also a dog exercise area. The Menz Shed is here too.

Great place to exercise the dogs with a run around the perimeter or to sit on the bench and watch someone else do it :)
