Why these ages?

Well-loved small neighbourhood playground 'particularly popular with families of young children'. Junior play module with small slides, accessible basket swing, standard swings, monkey bars, sandpit and cute height-measuring equipment. Bark and artificial grass surface. Smooth pram/wheelchair path. Quiet residential Herne Bay side street, open grass for run-around. Herne Bay Beach is a short stroll (not adjacent).

Accessibility
Partial access
+ Supportive swing seat (high-back, basket or nest)+ Step-free path to the play+ Artificial turf surface (firmer than bark)- Bark or wood-chip surface (wheels sink)
Access notes

The description explicitly states a smooth path from the street gives easy pram and wheelchair access up to an accessible basket swing, and the play surface is described as mixed bark and artificial grass, so bark remains a barrier under some of the equipment.

Salisbury Reserve is an enjoyable place for both families and individuals since offering a well-kept playground and large grassy areas ideal for picnics and leisurely activities. Unfortunately, the overflowing rubbish bins, which aren’t emptied frequently, severely reduce the park’s cleanliness and create a hygiene concern. The local council must take prompt action to resolve this problem and preserve the park’s attractiveness…..

Soon to become a city council dumping ground - they will say its temporary.... But won't give an end date.

No parking which makes reserve inaccessible for older adults.
