Springfield Domain

Springfield Domain playground is a small, bark surfaced play area in Springfield, on the western edge of the Selwyn District toward the Torlesse Range. It suits toddlers through to early primary age, with a straightforward swing and slide set rather than a big destination build.

Equipment

The play area is built around a multi play structure with a slide, standard swings with an infant swing, and a spring toy, all on bark surfacing. A recent council survey records the equipment as installed within the last five years, so it is in good condition.

Practical Info

Public toilets, picnic tables and seating are on site, along with tennis courts next to the play area for older kids and adults. Off street parking is available, though there is no shade over the play equipment itself.
