Cool wee playground, though could do with some maintenance. The merry go round is a bit wobbly amd the hammock swing makes an awful clinking sound. But has plenty of other things to play on and a basketball hoop.
Koura Reserve Playground
Rangiora 7400
Access notes
A paved path loops through the reserve, but the soft fall under the equipment is bark chip throughout, confirmed by both the description and a review, which is a barrier for wheelchair users. There are no toilets on site.
What's here
Tucked into a quiet residential pocket of Rangiora, Koura Reserve Playground is a compact but well-equipped neighbourhood playground that draws steady praise from local families. Rangiora itself sits in the Waimakariri District north of Christchurch, and the reserve offers a low-key destination for a morning outing without the crowds of the larger town parks.
