Why these ages?

Rare full-spectrum park — infant swing plus a you-and-me paired carer/child swing signal deliberate toddler design, alongside basket swing, multi-play with slide, climbing net, ship's wheel, and dual flying fox for older kids. Sits on eastern shore of Lake Te Anau but reviewers explicitly praise the 'secure fencing provides peace of mind for parents' — fenced from the lake. Flat lakeside access, toilets, tree shade. Toddlers can be let loose within the fence.

Access notes

Description explicitly states easy flat access from the carpark into the lakeside park, but all the play equipment sits on a bark safety surface, a barrier for wheelchair users approaching the equipment itself.

Plenty of car parks around the playground. A good place for the kids. A lot of stuff to play too. There’s flying fox.
