Tanner Street Playground

Tanner Street Playground is a small neighbourhood reserve in Grasmere, Invercargill, built around a wooden multi-structure play unit that combines climbing, sliding and swinging in one integrated form. A see-saw and a half basketball court sit alongside it, on an artificial surface.

Equipment

The wooden multi-structure suits a wide age range on its own, and the half basketball court gives older children and teens a reason to stick around once younger siblings have had their turn.

Practical Info

Picnic tables are on site, with on-street parking available nearby. There is no shade over the play equipment, though established trees in the surrounding area offer some cover for the picnic table.
