Newest park in town (August 2020) in a new developing area in Hamilton. It has the basics for kids up to 8 yo. The basketball court is the best feature, so it entertains adults and grown kids while the small ones play around. Parking is easy around the area. Close to Waikato Hospital, there is a kindergarten just in front and a small pond on the side. Seems just for the region.
Te Inuwai Park
Inuwai Street, Glenview, Hamilton 3206
Why these ages?
New (2020) neighbourhood park with a genuine junior corner (toddler shop front, spring toy, infant swing, basket swing) alongside multi-play climbing, spring toys, balance equipment and a half basketball court. Bike and scooter tracks run through. A reviewer notes a small pond on the side — not adjacent to the play area but worth flagging. Artificial-grass surface. No shade, no toilets, 'for kids up to 8'.
Access notes
The playground sits on an artificial grass surface with a flat open layout explicitly described as popular with children on wheels. There is no dedicated accessible parking bay, and a review confirms there are no toilets on site.
