The Lakes Playground at Caslani Reserve is one of Tauranga's best-equipped neighbourhood play spaces, built to suit a wide age range. A 40-metre flying fox is the headline attraction for older children, backed by a rope swing, monkey bars, and a swing bridge, while a separate toddler zone keeps younger children close by.

This is a great playground. Some of the better features to chose from in playground design were utilised when they put this up. Made it easier to actually play WITH my kid cause I could do some of tge things as well. Cool flying fox, too. Nice

Our 1 year old loved the infant swing, the tunnles, and the tramp. The new covered BBQ area is awesome! A modern design and big enough tables for the whole whanau. Perfect addition

Our son had a blast. Good fun for all ages, a few people with roaming dogs but no drama. Nice shade if it a hot day, but possibly needs a good clean

Even in winter this is still a beautiful park! Love the close car parks, a few good eating options across the rd & my fave cafe/restaurant Maude. Kids fave thing here is the flying fox. So much fun! Highly recommend👍 …

What a lovely place for the whole family including your dog. A well equipped play area and lots of open space for running around or just sitting and enjoying the views.

The kids at area is OK but the rest of the area is a muddy bog hole we made the mistake of taking our dogs there for a walk and ended up covered in stagnant mud. Its shameful that the residents paid so much for their properties and the council has let them down with a totally useless reserve area
