Why these ages?

Reviewer explicitly calls it 'perfect little park great for 1-5s' and 'our 3yo loved', so toddler equipment works even though the playground itself isn't fenced. The standout for older kids is the purpose-built kids bike park with miniature Glockenspiel, working traffic lights, roundabout and pump track — genuinely tween-worthy. Central duck pond and skate park are elsewhere in the reserve, not adjacent to the main play zone.

Description mentions a sealed walking track around the lake suited to prams, and a review specifically says there is plenty of parking easy for wheelchairs, but neither the description nor reviews say anything about the play equipment surface itself.

This park is great , has some good history re - the pond they have there. Used to be boats and stuff, then it was swimming and now it's for the ducks! Lovely flora there with native plants and a wee walkway going around the pond. The kids bike track looks cool too, they even have a little version of the Stratford clock tower. Worth checking out on a nice summer day, bring some fish and chips if you want some duck company ! Five stars , well done Stratford council.

I go here & walk my dogs with a leash they are well-behaved & are obedient It's a lovely area to walk on a warm day. We go on the other side of the play grounds so as not to disturb anyone who likes to visit there. Good place for picnics too
