Waitaki Bike Skills Park

Waitaki Bike Skills Park sits in the Friendly Bay precinct at Oamaru Harbour, a play space that pairs a learn to ride cycling track with standard playground equipment, suited to a wide range of ages.

Equipment

Alongside the learn to ride track and a hamster wheel, the playground has slides, a boat, standard and infant swings, a climbing frame, a flying fox, a basket swing and a train, set on a mix of artificial surface, bark and grass.

Practical Info

Public toilets, a drinking fountain, a barbecue, picnic tables and seating are all on site. Shade is minimal, with only light tree cover over the boat. Off street parking is available, and the playground sits adjacent to the beach.
