Quite a lovely water park here, took the kiddies and they had a lot of fun. Even my sister also played in the water park and she's in her 30s . They also have some lovely walk ways in the area, as well as a lovely skateboard park.

Waterview Reserve (Oakley Park)
31 Herdman Street, Waterview, Auckland 1026
Why these ages?
Toddler-friendly features (infant swing, basket swing, sand play, splash pad, tunnels through mounds) but 5m novelty tower and no fencing put it in has-toddler-zone rather than toddler-friendly. Skate park sits at south end of reserve (distanced from play). BMX pump track and half basketball extend tween appeal.
Access notes
The description mentions ground cover deliberately coloured for the harbour theme, and a photo signal shows rubber surfacing across 26 photos, pointing to a firm poured surface. But nothing in the text describes an accessible path, marked parking, an accessible toilet, or a transfer swing, so only the surface clears the bar.

Equipment
A five-metre novelty tower with a tubular slide anchors Waterview Reserve's playground, surrounded by tunnels through mounds, rotonets, a climbing frame with a glider and an embankment slide, with ground cover deliberately coloured sea blue and sand to echo the reserve's position near the Waitematā Harbour. Local primary school students helped design the layout, and it shows in small details built around a kid's eye view of what makes a great playground.
