Nice place for a game of social T20 cricket. A shame about the regular unsavory characters that frequent the area, there was a guy that didn't leave the public toilet for the entire we were there(3hrs) if anyone approched he made vomiting sounds to ward anyone of coming in, he was quite obviously partaking in substances.

This is a large and well-maintained public park where many sports are played, including football, rugby, cricket, tennis, and lawn billiards. The McCombs Memorial Lawns is home to the only lawn billiards pitch in the world. This ancient game was revived by members of the Woolston Lawn Billiards and Bat-and-Trap Society in 2009, and is played every Sunday during the playing season, which is from the first weekend in September to the last weekend in April.

Exelente place to workout, there are many equipment to do calisthenics. Also there is a tenis and basketball court.

It’s a really well looked after park, the trees are lovely and provide lots of shelter and the old brick fence surrounding the park certainly gives it a lovely historical feel. The only downside to the park are the toilets, they really are horrible, dark and usually unclean

I like it the Training equipment is good and the small Monuments are beatiful, but the Toilett could have at least a light inside.
