Appenzell Drive Playground

Appenzell Drive Playground is a neighbourhood playground in coastal Whakatane, with a multi-play structure and slide, a junior multi-play structure with a slide, swings including an infant seat and a multi-play climbing structure on a bark surface, most of it covered by large shade sails. It suits toddlers through to primary age children.

On street parking is available. Seating is provided on site. Whakatane District Council maintains the playground under its neighbourhood parks programme, close to the district's coastal walking tracks.
