This is a neat little neighbourhood park with swings and a seesaw and a huge field thats great for sport, a picnic, letting you dog off its lead and tossing a stick for it. It had a small native reserve attached to it which has a locked gate for some reason, its been planted, it has a small swamp, and has a lot of native species of bird..and other little creatures no doubt. Iorns is a great place for a tiny bush walk, (its full of long grass and piles of wood and sadly a bit of rubbish which the odd Lady. thoughtless sh.thead dumps .. there). This bushy part of.. Iorns park could be fantastic if the council, did a minimum amount of maintenance...attention Masterton council, really it would take 2 days and no additions, just a tidy to make it perfect.

Access notes
The description notes the flat setting makes the reserve easy to access on foot, but the swings and seesaws sit on a bark surface, a barrier right at the equipment. There are no public toilets and only on street parking is available.
