It’s a Really nice park to have hidden in middle of Newtown for the kids to have fun time playing. The flying fox is cool. They have a BBQ area as well, but no public toilets are here. You also might struggle with finding a parking here.

I take my 4 year old son here when we pick up his cousin. Has a little littles playground in the corner of one of the 2 entries into the play area. The big kids area and 2 bbq picnic areas opposite the park area. You also have a self contained vege/fruit garden that seems to be well looked after. Not a bad set up, green grass area that can be used to play footy, rugby or whatever really. Depending when the council mowers mow them lawns. Did I mention a cool flying fox too 😊 My son and his older cousin, helping him get a feel of it. Downside is no public toliets unless u live close ur algoods otherwise, public toliets is next to Newtown library or Mc Ds.

This little playground is tucked away, but worth a trip to. Great for picnics. Parking on regent st a bit tight, but access from Daniell is helpful.

The refreshed park is simply amazing. Great for kids of any age and has plenty of opportunity for improvised fitness. Only disappointment is the lack of nearby toilet.

Great Park, good playground and seating, and even has a couple of BBQs. Plus a community vegetable garden. Really needs toilet block there.
