This is a cute little play area, but we don't go there often. The equipment is in good condition and only a couple years old. The issues are a lack of toilets and the shade line encroaching earlier than many other play areas.

Great place to visit, right near town, easy to get there (with a bus stop up the road). I know as a local this is a fantastic playground to visit with kids! Hanson st park is surrounded with town belt, which is fun to explore for young ones! I have personally gone for a great fish 'n' chips (from the conveniently placed fish and chips shop down the road) on the picnic table placed a few metres from the playground! I definitely recommend going here.
