Children's playground

This playground on Escotts Road in Tuakau sits beside the Tuakau Centennial Pool, with flying foxes that draw families from across the wider Franklin area.

Equipment

Two flying fox runs let children launch themselves independently, alongside swings, a slide, a climbing module and a basket swing, on bark surfacing. A fenced junior area gives toddlers their own space.

Access and Inclusion

Picnic tables, seating and on street parking are on site, with tree cover providing shade over parts of the carpark and playground, a genuine plus on hot Waikato afternoons.
