You get to Crewe Crescent expecting a small corner playground thing, and you find a small corner playground thing, indeed... at least on the surface. Look carefully, however, and there is a lot going on: a pretty decent playground with enough equipment, open space for playing around, a couple of benches on the corner of the park, another couple of picnic tables strategically positioned between playground equipment, grown trees for shade and cooling while waiting on the kids, bins, even a water fountain! Parking is on the street, but the streets seem quiet enough. And although this is a playground in a residential corner, it still has some interesting amenities to it: a small (failed) community garden, and the opportunity for kids to come together twice a week for community activities, run by Pascal Street Community Trust! Quite a surprising little reserve! For a tour of the best playgrounds in Palmy, nearby good playgrounds are at Hokowhitu Domain and Victoria Esplanade.

A nice little park, with a good range of childrens motor-skills catered for. No designated parking, and is located in an area of low traffic, so be aware/listen to your personal safety feelings.

It was okay. Heaps of kids having fun. A lot shaddy characters around there though. People walking past looking at you with their chests out, walking like they own the world and will try best you up just cause. No one did anything though
