Fully fenced after Dec 2025 co-design refurb with tamariki, aimed at younger kids: infant swing, junior multi-play + slide, further slide, plus a perimeter loop path popular for balance bikes/scooters. Franklin Ave runs along the reserve edge so the fence is genuinely useful for parents of wanderers. No toilet on site. Ideal wander-safe toddler stop.

A cute little playground with a good size are to run around in. Not sure where the nearest public toilet is though.

*Fully Fenced Playground!!!* This upgrade is a game changer, it’s a lovely little spot, it’s definitely aimed toward the younger kids but it has a little scooter/bike track for kids to zoom around. Swings, slide, fort, spinner thing, picnic tables, water fountain, and a small covered seating area. A toilet would be great and some more shade areas or even some shade sails over the tables-are my only suggestions. Coffee on ascot is nearby so parents can grab a snack and borrow the toilet but not sure you’d be able to if you weren’t buying 😅
