Ernest Street Playground

Ernest Street Playground is a neighbourhood play space at the corner of Ernest Street and Rose Street in Ranui, Porirua, one of two council play spaces in the suburb.

Equipment

The playground has swings including an infant swing, a multi-play swing structure with slide, a rotonet, a see-saw and an interactive play panel, on an artificial surface.

Access and Inclusion

Tree shade reaches the picnic table but not the equipment itself. On-street parking serves the site.

Ranui sits beside Porirua Park, the city's premier sportsground with a covered 2,000-seat stadium stand, adding a bigger recreation precinct within easy reach of this local playground.
