Essex Reserve

Essex Reserve is a small playground opposite Mount Eden Village's shops, with a rope net climbing structure shaped like a ship, a triple swing set, and a timber log see-saw suited to a range of ages.

Equipment

The ship-shaped rope net gives multi-level climbing, the triple swing set includes a flying saucer basket swing and an infant swing, and a timber log see-saw rounds out the artificial-surfaced play area.

History and Cultural

Essex Reserve's current playground opened between 2013 and 2014, designed by Playground Centre with timber and rope elements that suit the village setting.

Practical Info

Established trees give some shade over the equipment and picnic table, and on-street angle parking is available. Mount Eden Village's cafes and shops are right across the road.
