Farnworth Crescent Playground

Farnworth Crescent Playground is one of Whakatane's newest neighbourhood playgrounds, established in 2024 in the Poroporo area. Council records list a multi-play structure with slide, a see-saw, swings and a toddler swing on a bark surface.

Equipment

The toddler swing and assisted slide suit younger children, with the see-saw and standard swings rounding out play for early primary age.

Practical Info

On-street parking is available, with seating provided on site. There is minimal shade over the play equipment, though seating sits under tree cover.
