Forfar Crescent Playground

Forfar Crescent Playground is a neighbourhood reserve on a quiet residential crescent in Invercargill's Rockdale suburb, a familiar after-school stop for local kids.

Equipment

The playground has swings, a carriage swing, a maypole spinner and a climbing frame, on an artificial surface, with the carriage swing and an infant T-swing suiting younger children.

Access and Inclusion

Some trees around the site offer shade for spectators, though the equipment itself has none. There is no dedicated car park, but the low-traffic residential streets allow easy on-street parking.

Practical Info

There are no toilets or picnic facilities at this reserve. Invercargill City Council keeps the site smokefree, and the reserve is unfenced.
