Harold Moody Park

Harold Moody Park in Glen Eden, Auckland, has a small, recently renovated playground within a larger sports reserve, with swings, a multi play structure, and a climbing module suited mainly to toddlers and younger children. A fenced junior area keeps the youngest visitors separate from the wider park.

Access and Inclusion

There is no shade directly over the play equipment, though nearby trees shade the seating. Accessible toilets and changing rooms are at the southern end of the main car park, with off-street parking, including mobility parking, open from 7am to 9pm daily.

Practical Info

The Waikumete Stream runs through the wider park, which is also home to the Glenora Bears Rugby League Club and Glenora Eagles Softball Club. The park is part of the Project Twin Streams restoration network.
