Locket Reserve playground

Locket Reserve playground is a small, purposefully equipped playground in a quiet residential pocket of Glenfield, on Auckland's North Shore.

Equipment

Three pieces give the compact reserve good variety: a multi play structure with an integrated slide, a basket swing suited to solo or shared play, and a rotonet climbing net for a bigger physical challenge. The basket swing also works for younger children with adult support. Bark covers the play area, with no direct shade over the equipment.

Practical Info

Picnic tables sit nearby for supervising caregivers, and on street parking is available along Locket Road. The playground has been registered with Auckland Council since before 2019, and its smokefree policy applies.
