Playgrounds in North Shore, Auckland

SlideScout has 135 public playgrounds mapped in North Shore, Auckland. They're ranked below by what parents and kids rate them after a visit, with Google reviews filling in where nobody has reviewed yet. Top of the list right now: Murrays Bay Beach, Lake Town Green and Greville Reserve.

The North Shore's playgrounds are beach-and-bay picks, harbour-edge grass with shade trees and changing rooms for a sand-then-swings afternoon. Lake Town Green in Hobsonville Point is the destination day, a big fenced new-build with a basket swing, climbing tower, and the lakefront promenade for scooters. Little Shoal Bay Reserve sits right under the harbour bridge with shaded lawn, a fenced toddler bowl, and free parking that fills by eleven on a still summer day. Sunnynook Park Playground does multi-level climbing and a separate under-fives area, with the skate park next door for older siblings. Greville Reserve in Pakuranga and Devonport's Windsor Reserve round out the walk-from-the-ferry options. Pack swimmers anywhere on this side; nearly every play has water within five minutes.
