Martins Bay Holiday Park

My experience in the Shelduck Cottage wasn't exactly in-line with the other reviewers here. An intensely bright security light outside of the adjacent toilet block, made it difficult to sleep. Staff were unresponsive to requests to turn it off. The room had not been cleaned and bed linen had obviously not been replaced after a previous visitor.

We had such an amazing stay at Martins Bay! Robin deserves a special mention as her customer service is amazing 👏 location is beautiful and the beachfront cottage is just stunning. Cannot wait to come back yearly! Perfect spot ✨️

As owner replies are not open to further response, we wish to clarify that while management may feel the situation was handled professionally, our review reflects our lived experience over multiple visits, which did not feel respectful or supportive. We stand by our feedback so others can make informed decisions. Beautiful location, but our experience with management has been disappointing. Over multiple visits, we’ve found the management approach to be inconsistent and unnecessarily confrontational. Rules and expectations seem to change depending on the day or situation, which creates confusion and tension for guests trying to do the right thing. We’ve personally experienced rude and abrupt interactions, and it is not the first time we’ve been approached in this manner. Clear communication, consistency, and respectful engagement from management would make a big difference to the overall experience. Martin’s Bay has so much potential, but the management style and lack of consistency unfortunately detract from what should be an enjoyable place to stay.

Sensational campground, lovely clean facilities.... great spot

First time at Martins Bay and we loved it. Checkin was easy. They had our info pack ready and we were straight into setting up our tent. Facilities are really good for a campground. Kitchen was clean and everything was provided for washing your dishes. Even had multiple stoves to cook on. No need to bring you portable bbq if you don't want to. Showers and toilets are decent and only 50 cents for a 5 minute hot shower which is not a bad deal. Beautiful beach just a short walk away or even a few steps away depending where you are. Best part was they have great facilities for kids to keep them entertained. A decent playground area, Rec room with a TV, books for reading and a Fooseball table and Paddle carts for hire which my daughter enjoyed the most. Staff are friendly as well. Will definitely stay here again.
