Great place to stay with plenty to do. Staff were great rooms were tidy and clean. Great for families with kids although it is by the water. They have great amenities like shared dining areas with BBQ and kitchen. They also offer room cleaning services. I would recommend maybe putting in more parking spaces inside the facility so a group with multiple cars had to leave some of our cars outside the gate. Other than that very great location close to a small town with a Foursquare supermarket (Matakana) or another 20mins drive to get to Warkworth where you can find a Woolworths, New World and PaknSave. Highly recommend.

This is a campground which has cabins and sites for caravans, tents, Mobile homes! Great spot to relax and awesome facilities.

Everything costs extra. They claim to be the cheaper camping in the area, but everything you normally get complimentary on a camping costs extra: wifi, shower, even the connection for the powered sites. Would not recommend.

Biggest rip off ever. We wanted to visit our friends for a couple of hours. We would be using their facilities and going for a swim in the sea. We went with the intention of making this our ongoing family camping spot. They charged $18 for 2 ad and a 2yr old just to visit and we weren't even allowed to bring our car in for that. They were going to charge us for 4 until we pointed out we were only 3 of which one was a young child! They were rude and dismissive… there is no way we would camp here if our visitors, such as grandparents, were treated this way or charged this.

Really nice spot, the facilities are pretty standard. The service really let down the experience for us. We’ve been staying here a few years now, and this most recent visit has shown some disappointing changes. Showers you now have to pay additional for. We also were refused entry to unload our car onto the campsite and then return it out to the public parking area because we have two vehicles.
