Myers Park Playground
379 Queen Street, Auckland CBD, Auckland 1010
Why these ages?
Sunken in a gully off Queen Street, so no direct arterial road exposure. Infant swing, junior slide, basket swing, carousel, animal sculptures and a splash pad give toddlers a rich, tactile setup on a wheelchair-friendly surface - RNZ specifically flagged Myers as one of the few CBD playgrounds accessible for kids with disabilities. Older kids get climbing modules and an embankment slide.
Access notes
RNZ named Myers Park wheelchair friendly surface as one of the features that make it one of few Auckland CBD playgrounds rated accessible for children with disabilities, and the 2022 upgrade eased the walk in from Queen Street. Accessible parking and toilet are not specifically confirmed.

Equipment
Myers Park drops into a gully between Karangahape Road and Mayoral Drive, a green pocket the whole city centre leans on, and it is one of the few CBD playgrounds RNZ singles out as genuinely accessible for children with disabilities.
