North RD Reserve

North RD Reserve is a small neighbourhood playground on North Road in The Wood, an inner Nelson suburb wrapped around Botanical Hill.

Equipment

Swings including an infant swing, a see-saw, a multi-play structure with slide and separate climbing equipment sit on a bark and woodchip surface.

Access and Inclusion

Some seating has tree shade, though the play equipment itself is largely unshaded. On-street parking is available in the surrounding streets.

Practical Info

Public toilets are on site. The reserve sits close to the Botanical Gardens and Nelson's town belt walkways, making it easy to combine with a longer walk.
