Perfect spot for a break with our younger kids as we drove from Wellington to Auckland. Great wee playground with shade sails. Lovely backdrop in all directions. Chess board is neat but sadly missing the black Queen and knight

Only playground in Omori with shaded play area, giant chess/checker board (lots of missing/broken pieces), hopscotch, basketball hoop and 2 tennis courts. Wide open field for kids to run around though little shade to have a picnic.

Cool little park with tennis court, basketball court, playground and huge chess. Have markets on every so many weekends with crafts and food.
